Mass Live Arts (MLA) is a festival of experimental theater and performance at the Daniel Arts Center [Bard College at Simon's Rock] in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
We are dedicated to presenting large-scale bold new works of contemporary performance in the Berkshires. MLA is also committed to fostering the creation of new American works through development residencies culminating in work-in-progress showings. This residency is for highly-talented companies or performing artists in need of space and time to create new work.

Ilan Bachrach is a performer and visual artist raised in
Boston and based in Great Barrington/ Brooklyn, is
company member of Nature Theater of Oklahoma, and
The National Theater of the United States of America
and has also created and performed works with Jim
Findlay, Phil Soltanoff, Sibyl Kempson, Temporary
Distortion, Collapsable Giraffe, Witness Relocation
Kamila Slawinski is a Brooklyn-based freelance PR and marketing consultant, serving primarily dance and performing artists from the downtown/off-off-Broadway scene. In addition to working with Mass Live Arts, she cooperates closely with the Brooklyn venue JACK. Prior to moving to NYC in 1998, Kamila has been active as a curator, journalist and writer in her native Poland. Her book of essays on life and culture of New York City, Nowy Jork. Przewodnik niepraktyczny (New York: An Impractical Guide) is currently in its 3rd edition.
Blaze Ferrer is a Brooklyn-based performance maker. Blaze has directed and choreographed pieces for Theater For The New City’s Dream Up Festival, The Shed Space, The Circle Theater of New York, AUNTS, Exquisite Corpse Company, and Fresh Ground Pepper. Recent assisting credits include Julia Jarcho’s OBIE award-winning Grimly Handsome (JACK), Zoë Geltman’s Sea Fraud (The Brick), indie operas created by Mallery Avidon and Jeff Aaron Bryant (Prelude 2014, Target Margin Theater, Cloud City), Jessica Lewis’ Man and Coconut (iRT Theater), and numerous workshops at New Dramatists.
Elliott Jenetopulos works in design and production of dance and performance, and as a collaborator on Sarah Maxfield’s Nonlinear Lineage, an artist-driven archive of experimental dance and performance. As a lighting designer, Elliott has worked with Jen Rosenblit, Anna Sperber, Marissa Perel, Enrico Wey, luciana achugar, Lorene Bouboushian, Tess Dworman, niv Acosta, Ursula Eagly and others.
Maurina Lioce works in many aspects of Production, Theater and Music. She most recently assistant directed Jim Findlay’s Botanica at 3LD Art and Techology Center. She has recently participated in The PUSH Arts Festival, K Record’s What the Heck Fest , Pearl D’Amour’s How to Build A Forest at the Kitchen Theater, and Kneehigh Theater Company’s The Wild Bride at St Ann’s Warehouse. She is currently developing Dream of the Red Chamber, A Performance for a Sleeping Audience with Jim Findlay.
